ER19 Reno Cycle Route The Reno river has always characterized the territory of the plain north of Bologna, twisting and turning through the levees and riverbanks that people had to raise to tame ts flow. Following this cycle path, the city of Bologna soon gives way to a rural landscape made of loodplains, like the Golena S. Vitale Ecological Restoration Area. Going down the embankment, you can reach the towns of Argelato, Castello d’Argile, and Pieve di Cento. On the border with Galliera, you reach the northernmost point of the Reno Cycle Route over the riverbank at Bisana Ecological Restoration Area. Riding along the course of the river up to Malalbergo, you can finally reach the ER21 Navile to continue up to the sea.
