Pic de Madrès 2468 m depuis le col de Jau, en passant par le Pic du Bernard Sauvage 2423 m
En boucle dans le sens anti-horaire (permet d'avoir de très belles vues sur la chaîne dès la montée)
Hors sentier jusqu'à environ la côte 1750 m, où on retrouve un sentier non balisé mais bien marqué.
Attention! Le départ en forêt est hors sentier : Soit on suit la trace GPS (relevée sur le terrain) qui suit le chemin d'exploitation forestière marqué sur les cartes IGN, chemin qu'il faudra quitter vers la côte 1590 m _ au moment où le chemin redescend_ pour rejoindre la crête,
soit on prend pleine crête dans la forêt (non testé, mais la trace figure sur certains sites de rando)
Le passage en forêt est bien praticable (au 31/10/2021)
